APPLICABLE REGULATIONS

Arrival Norway

The border is in practice closed to foreigners who do not live in Norway. Norwegian citizens always have the right to enter Norway. Exceptions are made for persons who take care of critical societal functions, persons engaged in the transport of goods and persons, health personnel from Sweden / Finland who work in the Norwegian health and care service, persons who are to carry out regular contact with children, persons who otherwise have very special reasons for to come to Norway. All travelers to Norway must test themselves at the border. Foreign travelers must also present a negative test taken no later than 24 hours before entering Norway. All travelers to Norway must register before crossing the border. All entrants must be quarantined in a suitable place or at a quarantine hotel. Those who do not stay in quarantine hotels are obliged to test themselves on day seven. Household members who live with a person in entry quarantine should also generally be quarantined, and they should be tested. People who return to Norway after unnecessary trips abroad must spend the entire quarantine period in quarantine hotels

There are some exceptions to these requirements, for example for children under 12 years of age.

WORK

Home office for anyone who has the opportunity to do so. It is the employer's responsibility to ensure this.

EVENTS

All events should be postponed or canceled.

Rules if the event must still be held:

  • Maximum ten people at private gatherings outside of their own home, such as a birthday party in rented premises.
  • Maximum ten people at an indoor event, still 20 people where everyone in the audience sits in fixed assigned places.
  • Up to 50 people at funerals and funerals.
  • A maximum of 50 people at an indoor sports event for children and young people under the age of 20 who belong to a sports club in the same municipality.
  • Maximum 50 people at outdoor events.

The kindergartens in Bodø are on yellow level.

SPORT AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES

  • Children and young people under the age of 20 can train and participate in leisure activities as normal, and participate in sports events that bring together participants from the same municipality.
  • If children and young people train with a sports team in another municipality, they will be able to compete with this sports team as long as the infection situation allows it.
  • Prohibition of indoor organized sports and leisure activities for adults.
  • Top athletes can still train as normal, both outdoors and indoors. Series games in top sports are still recommended to be postponed. Top sports events are allowed, but with the exception of league games.

Amusement parks, bingo halls and the like must be closed.

PRIVATE GATHERINGS

  • Recommendation for a maximum of two guests visiting.
  • Everyone should limit social contact as much as possible.
  • Keep 2 meters away from others where possible, apart from those you live with, your boyfriend/girlfriend or 1-2 regular contacts if you live alone.

TRAVEL

 

  • Travel abroad is not recommended.
  • Avoid unnecessary domestic travel. Travel to a place of study can be considered a necessary trip.
  • You can travel to the cabin (owned, borrowed or rented) or hotel domestically, but avoid public transport if possible.
  • If you come from an area with a high level of infection, you should not stay in a hotel.
  • People who travel to municipalities with less strict measures than their home municipality should follow the recommendations that apply in the municipality in which they live as usual.
  • People who return to Norway after unnecessary trips abroad must spend the entire quarantine period in quarantine hotels.

SCHOOLS

YELLOW LEVEL IN ALL SCHOOLS IN BODØ

UNIVERSITIES, UNIVERSITY COLLEGES AND TECHNICAL COLLEGES

General rule on digital teaching in universities, colleges and vocational schools.Libraries and reading rooms can be open.

SOCIAL CONTACT

  • Everyone should limit social contact as much as possible.
  • Keep 2 meters away from others where possible, except for the people you live with, your boyfriend/girlfriend or 1-2 regular contacts if you live alone. This will not apply to the health service, kindergartens and schools, or other services for vulnerable groups where in practice it can prevent the normal operation of the services.
  • Max two guests visiting.
  • If you come from an area with a high level of infection, you should neither go on overnight visits nor have overnight visits.
  • Single residents and children and young people under the age of 20 can have overnight visits by one to two regular friends.

SWIMMING POOLS

Swimming pools, water parks, spa facilities, hotel pools and the like can only be open for school swimming, organized swimming training for those under the age of 20, and swimming for professional elite athletes.They can also stay open for rehabilitation/training, and other individual treatment can be booked for an appointment and where bathrooms are part of the treatment.

 

TRAINING CENTRES

Gyms can only be open to those living in the municipality.

Exceptions for persons resident in other municipalities who will use the gyms for rehabilitation and training invididuel/in smaller groups with the organizer, or individual training/treatment to which an appointment can be booked.

 

SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT AND SERVING ESTABLISHMENTS

  • Alcohol service is banned
  • Contact details shall be registered to the guests who agree to it.
